Agreement
By downloading or using Fermata ("the Application"), you agree to these terms. Fermata is developed and maintained by Kelios LLC ("we", "our", or "us").
What Fermata Is
Fermata is a native macOS application that orchestrates Claude Code CLI sessions. It provides a visual interface for spawning, monitoring, and managing AI coding agents that run on your local machine.
Fermata is a tool for directing AI agents — it does not itself write, execute, or modify code. The Claude Code CLI, developed by Anthropic, performs all code generation and tool execution.
Your Responsibilities
- Review agent output. You are responsible for reviewing all code changes, tool executions, and file modifications made by AI agents through Fermata.
- Maintain backups. Fermata manages git worktrees and branches. While it isolates changes, you should maintain your own backups of important work.
- Claude Code CLI. You are responsible for installing, authenticating, and maintaining your own Claude Code CLI installation and Anthropic account. Fermata does not provide API access.
- Compliance. You are responsible for ensuring your use of AI coding agents complies with your organization's policies and applicable laws.
Beta Software
Fermata is currently in beta. This means:
- Features may change, break, or be removed without notice
- Data formats may change between versions (session files, initiative files)
- We make no guarantees about uptime, stability, or fitness for production use
Intellectual Property
Fermata is proprietary software owned by Kelios LLC. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or redistribute the application.
Code generated by AI agents through Fermata belongs to you, subject to Anthropic's terms for Claude Code output.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kelios LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Fermata, including but not limited to:
- Code changes made by AI agents that cause bugs, data loss, or system issues
- Git operations (branch creation, merging, worktree management) that result in lost work
- Costs incurred from Claude Code API usage
- Interruption of your development workflow
Fermata is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
Termination
You may stop using Fermata at any time by deleting the application. Since no data is stored on our servers, deletion is immediate and complete.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as Fermata evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
