What's coming. No dates; no promises.

Priorities shift when users push back. If something below matters to you, tell us on Discord.

Shipping next Near-term

Landing in the next one or two releases.

  • Mobile companion apps

Monitor your agents from iPhone or Android. Approve tool calls, tail messages, get pinged when a session needs you — real-time sync, end-to-end encrypted.

  • Command palette (⌘K)

One palette, every action. New session, jump to initiative, open a worktree, switch projects — without reaching for the sidebar.

  • Diff viewer v2

Syntax highlighting, side-by-side mode, intra-line word-level diff. Review long sessions without squinting.

  • Canvas tidy

Sort and filter sessions on the canvas. Find what you need in a ten-session spread without scrolling.

  • Smarter worktree cleanup

Base-SHA-aware auto-cleanup that never deletes uncommitted work. Replaces the silent cleanup that was disabled in 0.3.

Exploring Designing

Actively in design; shipping when it lands cleanly.

  • Native Claude runner

A first-party SDK path alongside the CLI subprocess. Lower memory, faster cold starts, tighter integration. The CLI stays; you pick.

  • Remote runners

Run agents on a paired Mac or in a managed cloud container.

  • Open in editor

Jump from any session to VS Code, Cursor, Xcode, Zed, Sublime — whatever you actually use. One click, right editor, right file.

On the list Backlog

Requested, queued, worth doing — not yet scheduled.

  • Multi-provider support

Gemini CLI alongside Claude Code. Spec with one, build with another, or just mix them.

  • Files panel with inline diffs

Browse the working tree without leaving Fermata. Open, diff, revert per-hunk.

  • SDD methodology page

A long-form explainer for why spec-driven agents beat free-form prompts when the work is real.

  • Deep integrations

GitHub issues, Linear, Notion, Slack — pull the context in, push the result out, keep the tab count down.
